The Dutch Produce Association - sponsor of the Chicory Challenge - has been offering a top prize of £5,000 (plus a second prize of £1,000 and a third prize of £500) for the best new chicory recipe or an innovative new twist on an old recipe. We had more than 100 entries from teams or individuals by the closing date of 12 October.
The Chicory Challenge is now closed. We are not taking any new entries.
The judging process has begun and news of the winners will be posted on this website when they have been selected.
